Chapter Two
Search For A Brother, Discovery Of A Cave
Rorek rushed out the door and ran as fast as he could to the Wizard's Guild. He burst through the giant blue double doors, and surprised a few of the Sages researching there. Rorek bolted up the winding, sky blue staircase, two at a time, towards the top chamber of the tower. He dashed past an unsuspecting Junior Mage, that was going the opposite direction, making the books he was carrying go tumbling down the flight of stairs. Rorek ran into Gower's study, where the Head Sage Gower, was busy reading. Gower listened as Rorek recounted the events that recently unfolded. As soon as Rorek was done, Sage Gower teleported them directly to the site of the mangled cottage, which a few days ago, was the undisturbed dwelling of Rorek's little brother.
"Rorek, you search the woods, directly east of here," said Gower, as he started walking,"I'll look near the river west of here"
"Agreed," said Rorek.
The duo searched for what seemed like hours, until Gower contacted Rorek, via a red flare from his staff, and Rorek came running.
"What did you find," inquired Rorek.
"I've found what looks like the entrance to a cave cleverly disguised as a decaying yew tree," responded Gower.
Gower gestured at his findings. Rorek took a closer look at the old yew tree and saw a large hole, slightly larger than a man, in the trunk of the tree.
"After you," said Rorek.
Gower dove head first into the hole, and landed with a resounding thud on the floor of the cave. Rorek leaped into the old tree after him. Instead of the sight of his little brother, Rorek and Gower were encompassed by about a hundred ice warriors.
"Not good.....," implied Rorek.
